Using one of the client’s favourite personal photographs taken by a dear friend that captures the moment prior to the marriage. A small delicate piece of work was created. The client cherishes the artwork as her friend now resides in America, it symbolises the strong connection they have had over the many years they have been friends. The title was chosen by the client as her sister was her bridesmaid and is with her in the photograph and is also her friend.
The materials used included, fabrics, delicate papers, threads, confetti and paints. This piece of work included a layering effect of papers to create the desired texture and a soft application of paints.
