A beautiful piece of artwork commemorates the marriage of Gillian and Allan.  This work displays a sense of balance and harmony.  The background is textured with several layers of paper and paint on board. Whites golds, pinks and blues created a soft delicate background. The artist was given keepsakes from the bride and groom. The items chosen included a ribbon from the wedding cake, wedding favors, a map of Scotland, symbolizing the country of marriage and where the couple reside, copies of birth and marriage certificates, a wine lapel from the wine shared with family and friends on the eve of the wedding, love hearts, text from wedding cards, flowers from the bouquet and a thistle worn in a lapel. A lovely style that can be used to capture many important events.
